PJ Harte management and operations team are a dynamic, highly collaborative and supportive group with vastly different professional backgrounds & skill sets.
No matter the type of project nor the challenge therein, we have the collective knowledge, credentials & experience to exceed expectations.
DIRECTOR
Gerald has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry ensuring the business structure is solid and securing good working relationships with many of our clients and staff. Gerald has vastly aided the expansion of Harte to where it is today.
DIRECTOR
Having worked as a skilled operative, site manager and contracts manager, Damian fully understands the fundamental structure of what is required to ensure projects are delivered with great satisfaction to all.
Over the past 20 years Damian has built a substantial portfolio of long term relationships with many clients, sub-contractors and team members.
Overseeing many aspects of the business, Damian is passionate about guaranteeing the best possible level of service is delivered from both office and onsite management.
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Employed by Harte since 1990, Pat has risen through the ranks from Painter and Decorator to Site Supervisor; Contracts Manager and now Operations Manager.
His 20+ years' industry experience coupled with an education in business and finance enables him to understand all aspects of the business. Patrick directs our companies operations with a focus on H&S, environment, compliance, ethical business practices and planning for sustainable growth.
SENIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER
Having joined the company after finishing school, Chris started with Harte as an apprentice carpenter, going on to gain an NVQ level 3 in carpentry and joinery.
Chris has rapidly risen through the ranks at Harte and is now a key member of the contracts manager team and a vital part of the business. Chris has a vast understanding in the building trade, a great attention to detail and a prodigious working relationship with all of his clients.
SENIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER
Matt has worked within the construction sector for over 20 years and brings professionalism, drive and an eye for detail to the external and internal refurbishment areas of Harte business.
Matt understands the need for detailed planning and communication between the site team, client and end users to ensure the successful delivery of any project in terms of both time and cost.
SENIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER, BSc Hons
Similarly to several of our Contract Managers, Danny has progressed significantly within the company over the years. He began his journey with us as a site operative in 1999 and has since ascended through various roles to become the diligent and effective Contract Manager he is today.
In pursuit of enhancing his personal and professional development at PJ Harte, Danny also undertook a degree in Construction Management at Westminster University where he achieved the following;
• 1st Class Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management
• NVQ Level 5 & 6 – Construction Contracting, Operations & Management
CONTRACTS MANAGER
With over 10 years leadership & management experience, James is known for clear communication and precision planning which reliably & repeatedly cultivate positive outcomes.
James brings to the team a wealth of knowledge gained from on-site experience, most notably within the decorating and roofing sectors.
James has become a highly valued asset and is an integral part of our rapidly growing company.
CONTRACTS MANAGER
Robert joined PJ Harte as a plasterer in 2012; since then, he has repeatedly proven himself to be a hard-working, high-performing member of the team, he has progressed through the ranks from foreman to site manager and now contracts manager.
Robert has many additional qualifications allowing him to further his knowledge and master the skills demanded by our clients.
His 20 years of experience in the building trade now affords him a keen eye for detail and high quality. He is a valued member of PJ Harte.
CONTRACTS MANAGER
Michael joined PJ Harte in 2013 as a multi-site manager, his vast experience of 20+ years in the building industry, now as a Contracts Manager has made him a valuable & reliable asset to the business. Michael has worked on new builds, refurbishment, structural loft conversions & many other types of works. Michael has run his own building firm so has extremely strong commercial experience and knows what it takes to motivate teams and drive projects forward to completion.
CONTRACTS MANAGER
Degree qualified in building surveying, David brings a highly methodical & practical element to the business.
Davids ability to learn & adapt are proving him to be a very valuable asset for the company. We are excited to have David as part of our team and have every confidence that he will continue with the high standards he has already set.
CONTRACTS MANAGER
Ben has been involved in the building trade for over 20 years and has in-depth specialist knowledge of masonry and stonework. His experience working on historic buildings has further cemented the company's position as one of the best main contractors London has to offer.
CONTRACTS MANAGER
20+ years experience in the construction industry over 2 continents.
Neil is highly qualified with a CIOB level 4 in Construction Site Management & certified in SMSTS with 10 years experience as a contracts manager.
Over the past 5 years, Neil has specialised in the heritage sector, managing large scale restoration projects on some of London's most iconic and historic buildings.
Neil has proven himself to be high achiever and polished and attentive relationship manager
CONTRACTS MANAGER
Darren joined P J Harte in 2018 as a Multi-Site Manager. Prior to this Darren was a Commercial Site Manager for 10 years and a Project Manager for over 12 years working in high-end internal refurbishments. Recently Darren has become one of our valued Contract Managers proving himself to be an asset to the company. He also holds his SMSTS qualification.
SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Howard has worked as Senior Estimator at the company since December 2013. He has over 20 years’ experience within the industry in all aspects of pre-construction, including cost estimation and budget projection.
Howard has gained valuable experience on a wide range of commercial and residential projects, developing a detailed understanding of clients' requirements, deadlines, with a meticulous and thorough approach to meeting their needs. He enjoys the variety, complexities and challenges of working within the industry, meeting clients and professionals, on projects of all sizes.
ESTIMATOR
Keith is also a home grown member of Harte, he started with the company as a site operative and quickly moved onto to supervisory and subsequent management roles.
Keith’s speciality is high end residential and commercial refurbishment. Keith has successfully completed many of our company’s most complex and prestigious projects.
ESTIMATOR
Tim has been working with Harte now since 2016 and has over 30+ years in the Construction industry.
Originally from a City & Guilds trade background, his career progressed into estimating & surveying, successfully completing accreditation at Croydon College.
Tim has a wide range of experience in high end residential, commercial and historic building refurbishments, along with an in depth knowledge of specialist decorative finishes.
ESTIMATOR
James started with Harte in 2015, originally joining as a Subcontractor’s Payment Clerk. James has 9 years’ experience within the banking & accounting industries; In 2015 James earned his AAT Accounting Qualification.
James has, however, shown a natural talent in estimating & a keen interest in the elements involved with building & refurbishment. In 2018, James joined the estimating department and is currently studying for a BSc Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management. James has gained the fundamental experience needed to excel as an estimator and has delivered on a vast range of projects, including both residential and commercial refurbishments.
SENIOR BUYER
Josh began his career with P J Harte as a site manager and rose fast through the ranks to become a junior buyer, then a senior buyer. Josh has prior expertise in a variety of trades, such as flooring and carpentry, site management and bespoke kitchen, bathroom and closet installation. Josh manages the purchasing department's daily operations and upholds solid working connections with all suppliers through both online and in-person interactions. During negotiations, Josh’s top priority is achieving the most sustainable materials.
BUYER
Haroon joined PJ Harte`s buying department in 2019, previously working in a Construction Administrator role for a main contractor in retail construction.
His passion for working in the construction industry has helped him gain valuable experience in procuring goods & services required on-site, he understands the importance of time, cost & quality to a building project.
He enjoys the negotiation side and loves to build strong relationships with his new suppliers as well as maintain strong ties with his existing suppliers.

A meticulous, highly organised, hard-working and motivated personal assistant – Having worked with Harte since 2004, her roles have varied through the departments, providing cover where necessary and has gained invaluable knowledge throughout the company in its entirety.
MAINTENANCE TEAM LEAD & PA to PA
Joining us in 2023 is Holly, a dynamic and dedicated Administrator who leads the maintenance division at her company. With her bubbly attitude and passion for excellence, she brings a fresh and positive energy to every task. Holly's exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and experience within property management ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
OFFICE MANAGER
Lesley has worked with PJ Harte since 2010 in the capacity of Office /Admin Manager, has worked in mostly the construction industry in many roles, one being a buyer for over 15 years. She was also appointed with vast experience in ISO systems, to date she has managed and maintained a fully functional business management system built from scratch and looks after all the day to day running of PJ Harte office.
ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Kellie came bouncing through the P J Harte doors in 2016 and has been working in the head office ever since, her bright and chirpy mannerisms are infectious and professionalism with clients is exceptional. She is vital to the smooth running of the office and deals with a huge variety of daily tasks.
ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Michelle has over 25 years of experience within the Financial Sector original starting her career as a purchase ledger clerk moving her way up the ranks to becoming Accounts Manager gaining valuable experience along the way on all aspects of the accounting procedures.
Having original started her career within the Construction Industry, Michelle has also had the pleasure to work for the RHS within the accounts team covering events such as the Chelsea Flower Show.
SUB-CONTRACTOR PAYMENTS CLERK
Angela is a dedicated professional at P J Harte since she joined in 2019. Her background spans across various industries, including construction, retail, and civil service. With her expertise in attention to detail, customer service, and compliance, Angela brings a diverse skill set to the Accounts Team. Her ability to manage invoices, sub-contractors tax, handle financial transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance will greatly contribute to the team's success.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
James joined us at P J Harte in 2024 and brought with him a wealth of experience in accounts. Having previously worked as an Accounts Junior after graduating with a BSc Degree in Accounting and Finance in 2020. James quickly moved up the ranks to become Assistant Accountant for 2 years. This involved liaising with clients within the construction industry and managing the day-to-day running of the accounts department. His wealth of knowledge and experience enable him to understand all aspects of accounts making him a valuable asset to our accounts team.
HR MANAGER, Assoc CIPD
Bryony has worked with PJ Harte since 2010 starting as Junior Administrator and progressing to HR Manager. While working for PJ Harte she has achieved her Level 2 and 3 Certificates in Human Resources Practice enabling her to be an Associate Member of the CIPD. Before working at PJ Harte she worked in the Operations Department of the Federation of Master Builders for 3 years.
